PCN support the Friends' Hospice Paphos
Friends’ Hospice is a Charitable Foundation, Registered no 0310, which has been caring for local people in Paphos since 2006. They help those with a life-limiting illness for whom a cure is not possible, offering individualised professional palliative care that is designed to manage adverse symptoms and promote levels of comfort.
‘Suddenly, there was someone who understood exactly what we were facing.’
"Having been asked to leave our previous location in a wing at St Georges Hospital it became necessary to find long term premises and to that end we are in the process of preparing a 6 bedroom facility in a private house in Tala where we have been given most favourable terms to stay as long as we remain a “Hospice”. In a quiet location in a leafy lane we will be able to offer our patients and their families a relaxing, home from home environment.
Our aim is to provide comfort and peace of mind. People are treated as individuals with respect shown for personal beliefs, lifestyle and culture. We care for people from all backgrounds and communities.
Patients come to us for symptom control, respite and end of life care. We are here to support through the challenging times ahead". Friends’ Hospice
We will be raising funds during our 13th Annual Summit.
