UPF South Africa Delivers 177-Piece Project Cargo Movement
17th July 2026
UPF South Africa recently handled an impressive 177-piece project cargo movement from Vanderbijlpark in Gauteng to the Port of Loading in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, where the cargo was loaded for its onward journey to Perth, Australia.
Expertly coordinated by Michael Levendale of the UPF South Africa team, this operation involved the seamless handling of complex out-of-gauge and in-gauge cargo, including:
- Rotary Shell at 28.0 x 6.0 x 5.0m
- Muffle Base at 24.0 x 5.2m x 3.1m
From heavy lifting and stevedoring to port coordination and inventory management, every stage of the project was executed with precision.
