Upcargo with Efficient Transport of Aircraft Loader in Panama

PCN members in Panama, Upcargo Logistics have successfully executed the inland transportation of an aircraft loader from the Port of Balboa to Tocumen International Airport.
The equipment, measuring 11.50 x 3.60 x 2.08m and weighing 28.5mtn, required detailed planning due to its oversized nature. The operation involved port coordination, special transport permits, route assessment, and controlled handling to ensure the safe and efficient delivery.
Project Cargo Specialist at Upcargo, Julio Afú comments; "Upon arrival at Tocumen International Airport, the loader was discharged and immediately placed into operation. Its integration is expected to significantly improve the efficiency of loading and unloading cargo aircraft, reducing turnaround times and strengthening operational performance at one of the region's key air cargo hubs as well as Panama's strategic role as a multimodal logistics platform connecting maritime and air transportation."
