UPCARGO Deliver Water Treatment Plant in Western Panama

UPCARGO Logistics are pleased to report they have recently completed a major delivery for a water treatment plant in Panama.
"The plant will benefit more than 500,000 families by providing drinking water for consumption in the western area of Panama."
The three tanks each have dimensions of 10.92 (L) x 4.27 (W) x 4.40 (H) metres and individual weights of 10,000 kilograms. The project also included the transportation of 3 x 40' FR containers from Spain.
The scope of this project was substantial and UPCARGO also handled the unloading operations at the designated delivery site.
UPCARGO carried out the operations as follows:
1. Organisation and logistics of the operation.
2. Route study prior to the arrival of the cargo.
3. Inspection in Port.
4. Customs clearance documentation.
5. Unloading diagram for the customer.
6. Unstuffing operation in port from the flat rack to the lowboys.
7. Transportation of tanks from the port to the unloading site.
8. Unloading and installation of tanks.
