SMTI Handle Transformers & Reactors at Gabès Port in Tunisia

In February, SMTI (PCN members in Tunisia) received and handled 370 packages at Gabès Port, totalling 1,600tn.
The shipment included the following heavy cargo:
- 2 x 212tn transformers,
- 1 x 93tn transformer,
- 4 x 48tn reactors.
The heavy components were handled with care by the experienced SMTI team and loaded onto their hydraulic modular trailers and stored on supporting stools and beams inside the port.
Transport operations, as well as positioning onto foundations at various sites, are currently being prepared for execution in the near future.
