Realco Logistics (PCN member in Taiwan) are pleased to report their recent successful shipment of 8 complete water slides from Chengdu in China to Subic Bay in the Philippines.

General Manager at Realco Logistics, Mr. Caven Chen elaborates; "This project had been in planning for 6 months. A factory received an order of 8 water slides for a water park located in the Philippines and the original design of the water slide components were very oversized and would have required using open-top containers. Discussions and consultations took place with Realco Logistics and the factory's shipping department and design teams for several months in order to solve the problems and minimise costs.

Finally, Realco successfully convinced the factory to change their production plan and downsize each water slide component to the exact size to fit into a 40' HQ container. The project consisted of a total of 118 40' HQ containers and we were able to help the factory to considerably cut down on large shipping expenses as well as valuable time. We would also like to thank PCN member in the Philippines, AAI Worldwide Logistics for their responsibility and assistance in the local handling at Subic Bay."
