Protranser Export Dangerous Goods to Iraq as Breakbulk

Protranser are glad to share a recent export they handled involving dangerous goods shipped as breakbulk to Iraq.
The dangerous cargo (class 9) featured in this shipment was an energy storage cabinet with a weight of 48 tons, and dimensions of 7.7 (L) x 3.0 (W) x 3.3 (H) meters.
The major challenge the company met was a lack of record of Qingdao Port in handling dangerous goods as breakbulk.
Protranser were required to mobilise auto cranes, coordinate with port authorities, as well as to deliver empty flat racks and cargo to the port separately.
Their wider scope of work included port service, booking and export declaration.
