Procam Logistics Joint Venture with Caparo Group

Procam Logisitcs, who became a PCN representative in India in February 2012, are delighted to announce their latest development, a joint venture with UK Based Lord Swraj Paul owned Caparo Group having a group turnover of Euro 1.5 billion.

The JV Company will be known as Caparo Procam Infrastructure Limited and it's primary objective will be creating warehousing infrastructure and offering Management and Allied Services to various Industry sectors like Auto, Retail, Rail, Heavy Engineering, etc. News of the venture has already reached Indian business newspaper, Economic Times.

Marking the occasion, Rajesh Prasad, Managing Director of Caparo India said "the challenges in the form of land acquisitions, reclassification of land banks, etc. remain in general for all operators. However through offer of readily available infrastructure, the JV overcomes this challenge and will offer an excellent speed-to-market factor".

Underlining the importance of venture, T G Ramalingam, Managing Director of Procam Logistics said "Caparo Procam Infrastructure Limited aims to create immense value proposition for its Indian and Overseas clients. The JV will add one million sq feet of developed warehousing space. The JV brings to the table, Caparo and Procam’s domain expertise in the Auto Industry and in the Supply Chain domain respectively. This places the JV as a reliable warehouse solution partner for clients".
