Polaris Shipping Agencies were awarded the door-to-door movement from the UAE to Bahrain of 8 units of burner boom board sides with booms. Each unit had shipping dimensions of 28.50 x 2.30 x 2.85m and weighed around 18mt.

Due to unavailability of regular breakbulk liner vessels and as the shipment was to be executed in different lots, the available option of a part-charter worked out to be quite expensive for the customer. However, the Polaris project team negotiated and secured space with a RORO carrier to position 72' long MAFIs according to the clients required schedule. Polaris arranged the origin operations including securing of cargo onto the MAFIs while the vessel was in port.
