ELITE currently includes ten global networks whose membership, combined, includes over 3,447 companies with annual revenues of over US$60 Billion and over 140,000 staff operating from 7,000 plus offices in 195 countries worldwide.
ELITE OBJECTIVES
ELITE has been created to differentiate the established and quality-focused networks from the many 'rogue' networks. With new networks being formed on almost a weekly basis, it has become increasingly difficult for interested parties to differentiate between bona-fide quality networks and those that operate using dubious practices, provide poor quality services, offer unsubstantiated benefits, lack proper financial backing, fail to implement membership vetting procedures and are generally unable to fulfill their stated obligations to their membership.
ELITE has been created to provide the global logistics community with an industry-wide recognized 'Seal of Quality', which provides peace of mind and security that each Network Member operates to the highest possible standards.
ELITE will also act as a body to represent the independent freight forwarder with major global industry associations, regulators and government agencies. For the first time the independent sector will have a powerful and unified voice to ensure the interests of the independent freight forwarder are fully considered.
