M-Star Announce Activities in the Central Asia Region
19th July 2018
Members in Georgia and the Netherlands, M-Star are pleased to announce their project activities in the Central Asian Region via Poti.
Peter Terhorst (General Manager of Export and Projects at M-Star) explains; "Nowadays, we have noted that transhipment in Poti to the Caspian Sea area is becoming more competitive and with our office in the city, we have succeeded in getting more and more cargo via the route. We are currently running projects to Uzbekistan and more examples will be coming soon.
Using the Port of Poti, as the major transhipment point in the area, M-Star is organising door delivery by truck and rail to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. Cargo has included construction parts, trucks & chassis, cargo loaders, ambulances, road-building equipment, generators, pipes and equipment for the oil & gas and chemical industries etc."
"From various origins in Europe, USA and the Far & Middle East, the Port of Poti is becoming an excellent alternative to deliver cargo, all whole year around, to the regions of the Caspian Sea Area. M-Star offer a full scope of services for these projects."
