We are pleased to announce SEACON as new members in South Korea. Based in Seoul, they were established in 2012 and hold KIFFA, FMC and IATA certification. SEACON are breakbulk specialists, offering customised and innovative solutions.

Some recent project handled by SEACON are featured below.

  • A research vessel (1,434cbm / 150mt) from Mokpo in South Korea to Suva in Fiji from water to water. The job scope from SEACON included door to water at POD, customs clearance at both ends, surveys at discharging port, delivery at POD and inspection of vessel condition, lashing materials inspection, constructed a trestle & supplied dunnage material, discharging & loading, stevedoring supervision, tests for vessel engine & other utilities, and ocean transportation.

  • An EPC project with cargo including a compressor, turbine, heat exchanger and others. The project was split over 3 shipments arriving at Busan from Kobe (1,247cbm / 342mt / heaviest at 75mt), Hiroshima (1,779cbm / 538mt / heaviest at 176mt) and Dalian (2,528cbm / 400mt / heaviest at 146mt). The scope of work from SEACON included ocean transportation, port & road survey at discharging port, lashing materials inspection, discharging & loading, stevedoring supervision, and port to door transport.

  • A catamaran ferry vessel (2,186cbm / 110mt) shipped from Gaolan in China to Mokpo from water to water. The project scope from SEACON included ocean transportation, customs clearance at both ends, surveys at discharging port, lashing materials inspection, discharging & loading, and stevedoring supervision.

  • Press machinery for the automotive industry shipped from Masan to New Orleans, USA. The entire project totalled 1,067cbm / 1,019mt with the heaviest units at 154mt and 118mt.
