KGE are glad to share another interesting and challenging multimodal project which they recently completed from Germany to Kazakhstan.

They were nominated by a very close customer to transport two oversized equipment loads, as well as standard units from Goppingen in Germany to Kostanay, Kazakhstan.

        Dimensions of the Oversized Units

• 4.70 x 3.25 x 3.80 meters - 23,650 kg
• 3.80 x 3.25 x 3.80 meters - 17,430 kg

Standard sized cargoes such as accessories and other equipment were loaded on a mega tilt truck.

The total transit time was around 25-30 days, including border crossings.

KGE transported the oversized equipment using lowbed trucks from Germany to Kazakhstan via a Southern route.

The company had to plan their transportation carefully due to strict conditions that were imposed. Their challenge was for all cargo to arrive at import customs simultaneously and faced challenges along the way which were superseded as usual.

"We provided the customer with complete daily tracking and monitored the entire shipment, which resulted in satisfactory feedback from our customer."
