Interfjord Tackle High Volume of Special Transports in Europe
3rd February 2025

Interfjord recently had the pleasure of taking on a challenging task – 33 special transports which were successfully completed within two months!
The transports involved cargo with extreme dimensions, with the widest measuring 510 cm, the tallest 630 cm, the longest 38 meters, and the heaviest weighing 97 tons.
These cargoes were collected in Spain, France, Poland, Romania, and Bosnia and delivered to Germany, Denmark, Norway, and the Netherlands.
Thorough planning was essential; routes were analysed, and permits coordinated with local authorities.
Custom-designed trailers and advanced equipment ensured safe transport.
A complex transport from Poland to Norway required rerouting due to a bridge in Sweden but was delivered on-time.
All 33 transports were delivered on-time and without damage.
The project's success was due to dedication and efficient collaboration. It underscored Interfjord's ability to deliver world-class logistics solutions.
"The project, led by Christoffer Søndergaard and Henrik Markussen, tested our expertise and teamwork."
