Integral Chile with Temporary Export of Engines to China

Integral Chile are pleased to have been nominated as the freight forwarder for the local and international logistics of 16 engines to China and back to Chile.
The engines (pictured in the gallery below during loading) will be transported from Chile for a temporary export to China for maintenance and after competition, will return to Chile. Integral's job includes picking up the engines from the airline maintenance area, supervision, lashing of the cargo for which there are very specific procedures to follow, loading to aircraft and the transport.
General Manager at Integral, Elena Zapata explains; "Due to the dimensions and weight of the engines (5tns), they could only be loaded on a cargo aircraft as from Chile we do not have many choices of freighters to Asia. So, the engines were flown from Santiago (SCL) via Miami to Hong Kong with the last part of the journey by road to the final destination of Zhuhai. The operation will be concluded in December."
