Hacklin Ships to Shanghai for Rolls Royce

Hacklin Logistics Ltd have been a strong PCN member representing Finland since July 2011. The company have a dedicated project forwarding division and 6 offices across the country.
Hacklin have recently transported 6 pieces of heavy propulsion units (thrusters) produced in Rauma (Finland) by Rolls Royce. The units were shipped to Shanghai in China and weighed 103 tns each. They were sold to a shipyard in East China, close to the port.
Project Coordinator at Hacklin Logistics, Mikael Einio states; "We completed the shipment by chartering a vessel, ''BBC HAWAII'' from Rauma to Shanghai port. We arranged dedicated loading and unloading surveys at both ends ensuring the project was executed professionally and smoothly. Once the cargo arrived in China, Hacklin’s own company representative, Eric Wang, was on hand to supervise the unloading operation from the vessel directly onto barges. This proved essential as the lifting points marked on the units were not actually suitable for lifting and therefore an alternative solution was swiftly arranged. Hacklin Logistics are at your disposal at any time for any kind of project transportation you may require."
