Hacklin Logistics Join Nordic Chartering as Shareholder

Oy Hacklin Ltd expands its scope of business in the logistics sector with the acquisition of a considerable stake in the Finnish short sea operator Oy Nordic Chartering Ab.
Hacklin is a family-owned company established in Port of Pori, Finland back in 1908.
Since then, the Hacklin Group has grown into a global service provider offering versatile freight forwarding and logistics services.
In the past Hacklin has also been a shipowner, investing in its first vessel already over 100 years ago.
Hacklin joining as a shareholder in Nordic Chartering will build a strong foundation for future vessel investments. The companies are working in different logistics sectors and will continue working under their own brand.
Nordic Chartering is a privately owned Finnish short sea operator established in 2003.
All vessels are ice classed to secure operations all year round between the Baltic Sea and Western Europe.
Nordic Chartering is specialised in part cargo operations, and together with its strategic partners, part cargoes can be loaded in the Baltic Sea and enroute to Western Europe and the Mediterranean.
