Gebrüder Weiss Successfully Handle Difficult Charter Flight

PCN members located in Austria, Gebrüder Weiss have recently handled an AN-124-100 charter flight from Romania to Qatar.
The project involved the movement of a mobile analysis laboratory weighing 19.6tns with dimensions of 11.6 x 4.8 x 3.4m as well as 20tns of small parts & spares in crates and on pallets.
The cargo was moved by truck from the factory in Cluj (North-West Romania) to Bucharest Otopeni Airport where customs procedures, x-rays and loading was successfully completed. It was then flown to Qatar and transported to the final delivery location just 20km from Doha airport.
