EZ Link Handle Heavy Lift Movement from Taiwan to United States

EZ Link, PCN members in Taiwan, are pleased to report their handling of heavy cargo to the United States.
The shipment consisted of 2 sets of transformers on a heavy lift vessel from Taichung Port, Taiwan. The dimensions of each transformer measured 11.76 (L) x 3.95 (W) x 4.75 (H) meters with a weight of 224,700 kilograms.
Loading was seamlessly completed with heavy lift cranes from shipside onto the vessel. The EZ Link project team monitored all procedures during this operation, such as:
- Longshoreman utilising forklift to lift-up steel wire sling onto the hook, spreader beam and lifting beam respectively
- Truck driver's smooth delivery of SPMT from warehouse to shipside
- Stevedore paying attention to cargo loading from shipside onto vessel
- Vessel crew working on lashing, dunnage, wedging, bracing & blocking in vessel hatch
