Express Global Logistics (EXG) have successfully completed the transportation of power plant equipment from China to Southern India for the ongoing project of an esteemed customer.
This project involves the expansion of a nuclear power plant, of which EXG supplied thirty-six pieces of engineering equipment, totalling 3708 FRT.
EXG reports the dimensions of largest piece of cargo as 9.0 (L) x 5.6 (W) x 5.7 (H) meters, with a weight of 59 MT.
The cargo was shipped as breakbulk from Lushun Port in China over twenty-one days, with priority berthing & direct sailing.
After reaching Tuticorin Port in India, EXG handled import customs, port handling, inter-carting and road transportation from Tuticorin Port to the designated site using heavy-duty multi-axle trailers.
This final stretch from port to project site covered approximately 250 kilometres.
"EXG's meticulous planning and execution in handling such heavy packages, despite geopolitical challenges and vessel space shortages in China, demonstrates our ability to adapt and meet specific client requirements under difficult circumstances."
EXG's dedicated team and partners ensured the success of this project under demanding conditions, setting yet another example of hard work and commitment to excellence.
