Express Global Logistics are pleased to report on the seamless transport of oversized cold boxes for their client.

The consignment included two cold boxes with dimensions of 62.7 (L) x 6.56 (W) x 6.60 (H) meters, with a weight of 232.5 metric tons each.

Additionally, EXG transported one heat exchanger, alongside other key cargo components.

For this journey, the company utilised various advanced equipment:

• Hydraulic Axles: A configuration of 28 axles were employed to distribute the weight of the cargo evenly and ensure stable transportation.

• SPMTs: 24 axles were used to maneuver the cargo efficiently through the route’s various challenges.

The route covered a significant distance from Hazira Port to the designated site, requiring meticulous coordination and preparation.

EXG preemptively addressed road conditions by filling potholes, ensuring a smooth and damage-free transit for the heavy cargo.

To accommodate the dimensions of the cargo, they worked with local authorities to temporarily dismantle electrical wiring, camera poles, and navigation boards, safeguarding both the infrastructure and the cargo.

The team promptly reinstalled all dismantled elements after the cargo had passed, minimising disruptions to the local area.
