EXG Awarded 2015 CII SCALE Award in Specialised Cargo

Express Global Logistics (EXG) are PCN members representing India. The company are pleased to announce they have been awarded the 2015 Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Award in the Specialised Cargo category. The awards were organised by CII (Confederation of Indian Industry). The CII SCALE Awards Ceremony 2015 took place at the ITC Grand Chola in Chennai and EXG were presented their accolade by Mr S. Ramesh (Chief Commissioner of Customs for the Government of India), Mr Atulya Misra (Chairman of the Chennai Port Trust) and Mr R. Dinesh (Chairman of the CII Logistics Advisory Council).

In its 120th year of service to the nation, the CII theme of 'Build India – Invest in Development, A Shared Responsibility' reiterates industry’s role and responsibility as a partner in national development.
The SCALE Awards 2015 recognises the excellence amongst logistics service providers and supply chain service providers to user industries. Stakeholder industries includes automotive, engineering, consumer, retail and pharmaceutical. The winners were selected after a long deliberation by the esteemed jury which included eminent people from various sectors with specialised knowledge. The award bestowed to EXG recognises their excellent specialised cargo handling capabilities amidst strong competition from other players in the market. The award is the result of the nationwide efforts of EXG to set new standards of quality and safety in handling specialised cargo for the project industry.
