Element International Logistics, PCN members in Türkiye, are pleased to report on a recent project they completed involving drilling machines and their spare parts.

The company received a request to ship the drilling machines & spare parts to Tripoli Port in Libya.

1. Drilling Machine (2 PCS): 23.63 m x 3.00 m x 3.57 m - 182 MT
2. Pipes (5 PCS): 600 cm x 80 cm x 80 cm - 2,900 kg
3. Kelly Ropes (2 PCS): 150 cm x 100 cm - 800 kg
4. Tremie Pipes (5 PCS): 300 cm x 50 cm - 600 kg
5. Kelly Bar (1 PCS): 1,200 cm x 60 cm - 10 MT
6. Twister (1 PCS): 150 cm x 88 cm - 1,300 kg

Thanks to their good relations with the shipowner, Element Logistics elected to use a breakbulk vessel for their customer's request.

After finding the most suitable date and vessel as well as approval from the customer, they arranged the pre-carriage and port operations.

Element picked up the cargoes from Hatay City in South Türkiye, using seven trucks and carried to the loading port of İzmit.

Once loading onto the vessel was carefully completed with the aid of the port cranes, the ship sailed safely for Tripoli Port.
