As an example of their capabilities and professionalism, the gallery below shows photos of a project undertaken by EFM for NASA. They work regularly with NASA and on this occasion, were instructed to collect and securely load parts for an antenna which was being moved from the USA to Dongara in Western Australia.

The satellite antenna base structure was imported via RORO into Fremantle with EFM organising specialised cranes and staff to be onsite to oversee the unloading. Once cleared, they organised a specialised 45' drop-deck trailer to transport the 2 pieces form Fremantle to Dongara along with an escort vehicles to ensure complete safety. EFM also organised a heavy crane to meet the trailer and the EFM team at the Dongara site to carefully unload and place the satellite bases in position. NASA required a team with experience in dealing with large project work that could instruct the crane and crew on how best to move the base safely and EFM met this criteria well.

The second NASA shipment consisted of 2 x 40' open-tops, 1 x 40' flat-rack OOG cargo as well as 1 x 40' HC from Philadelphia to Fremantle. Due to delays on the water, EFM had to work with customs and quarantine to quickly clear and inspect the cargo as it was required urgently to meet the installation deadline. EFM organised the transport management plan in advance along with escort vehicles. Again, EFM also organised the crane onsite for unloading. The loading and unloading plans organised by EFM were critical as the shipment contained sensitive units that required careful handling.

The NASA team were very happy with EFM for their smooth handling of the project and they continue to work together on a regular basis.
