Balena Projects are glad to showcase a direct discharge operation they recently completed involving the movement of a transformer at Houston Port.
This hefty unit weighed 103,100 kg, requiring precise planning and flawless execution.
Once carefully loaded using specialised equipment, including polyester round slings, Balena Projects secured the shipment for transit.
Steel chains, wooden dunnage and stoppers were strategically positioned following comprehensive safety protocols.
For the direct discharge operation, the trailer was stationed at the terminal on-time, with coordination between the trucker and terminal ensuring a seamless process.
