Balena Projects have coordinated the transportation of two large conveyor belt units, with a combined weight of 55tn, from Port Clinton, OH to the Port of Houston, TX, where the cargo was prepared for onward ocean transportation to the Port of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The project required close coordination between inland transportation, customs clearance, and port operations to ensure a smooth handover at the port.

The Balena Projects team managed trucking from the origin, customs clearance, THC, and port handling at Houston, including the safe lifting and positioning of the cargo onto specialised transportation equipment. Careful coordination was maintained throughout the operations to ensure the cargo was properly handled and prepared for the next stage of transportation.
