Laso Lasarte Wind (LLW) have completed the delivery of the last of 121 wind turbines for the Aftissat Wind Farm in Morocco.

Aftissat is a major onshore wind energy extension project in the Boujdour Province, South of Laayoune in the Sahara region with an installed capacity of 460mw.

The project was divided into four phases and for the completion of this final phase, Laso Lasarte Wind deployed a fleet of 25 specialised vehicles capable of transporting the 90m-long blades as well as other main components with individual weights of up to 100tn, from the Port of Laayoune to the site located 200km away.

With the efficient completion of this wind farm project, Laso Lasarte Wind have handled a total 500+ wind turbines in Morocco, from north to south, reinforcing their undisputed leadership in comprehensive logistics services for wind energy in the country.
