Anker & LEMAN with Pipe Shipments

Colombian members, Anker Logistica y Carga have recently handled 2 shipments with fellow PCN member, LEMAN in the USA, consisting of coils of FlexSteel pipes plus accessories.

1st Shipment
- POL: Houston, USA
- POD: Tolu, Colombia
- Cargo: 68 Coils of FlexSteel Pipe and Accessories
- Weight: 889,882kgs
- Volume: 3,232cbm
- Carrier: Intermarine
"The first shipment was made with Intermarine from Houston to Tolu, a new breakbulk port in Colombia designed to handle coil and raw materials shipments. The port is usually only used for chartering carriers, but due to the size of our shipment, we managed a very good negotiation to use their facilities to unload the vessel. Anker managed the whole process including customs processes and security cover in Colombia until the coils reached their final destination."
2nd Shipment

- Volume: 334.7cbm
- Carrier: Intermarine
"A month later, a new shipment to Tolu was handled involving the same coils. The whole process was successfully completed with temporary customs processes and final delivery at site."
